The factory VDJ70 airbox has always been one of the weaker points in the intake system, particularly when it comes to sealing and long-term durability. The GSL Fab Airbox completely addresses those issues with a premium stainless steel design featuring three points of sealing contact on the filter — something unique to GSL and a major advantage when it comes to reducing air leakage and maintaining consistent airflow.
Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, this airbox is built tough for harsh touring conditions, corrugations, dust, and off-road travel around Australia. Unlike factory plastic airboxes that can warp over time, the rigid stainless construction helps maintain proper sealing pressure and reliability long term.
The clear perspex inspection lid with the engraved GSL logo not only looks incredible in the engine bay, but also allows you to quickly inspect the filter condition without dismantling the setup. Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, it works seamlessly with both the factory Toyota snorkel and the Safari Armax snorkel for easy installation.
Using the N80 Hilux Unifilter setup, this airbox offers improved filtration performance while helping support better airflow and engine efficiency for tuned or touring VDJ79 setups.

PLEASE NOTE:
If you already have our GSL VDJ70 Toyota Landcruiser Airbox and are planning on purchasing one of our GSL Landcruiser Intake Kits, you will need the "Without MAF Port Intake Kit".
The MAF Plug must be facing upright as per the image below if you're selecting "With MAF Port" when selecting a matching GSL intake.
If you have the Safari Armax Snorkel fitted with your factory airbox, you will require a 4" straight silicone and hose clamps to suit.
You will NOT need a retune if you purchase both of these products (Airbox and Intake) together and install them at the same time.
