Unlike many traditional aftermarket catch cans that can increase crank case pressure, create oil leaks, and clutter the engine bay with unnecessary hoses, the GSL Crank Case Breather is designed as a cleaner, simpler, and more effective solution.
The primary purpose of the system is to reduce crank case pressure while separating oil from crank case gases before they leave the tappet cover. By doing this, it helps minimise EGR build-up and the “EGR slime” commonly seen in VDJ70 Series engines, helping maintain a cleaner intake system and supporting long-term engine reliability.
