After running the GSL Fab Intake Kit on both of our VDJ Dual Cab 79 Series LandCruisers, it’s become one of our favourite upgrades for improving engine efficiency, airflow, and overall drivability in a touring 70 Series.

Unlike many oversized intake systems that create poor low-RPM drivability and dead pedal response, GSL relocates the MAF sensor correctly to maintain smooth operation and maximise performance potential.

Important Note:
If you are purchasing an Intake Kit for a GSL Airbox (Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series), please select the "Without MAF Port Intake Kit" option. A retune is not required with this setup.

If you are purchasing this Intake Kit for use with a competitor Airbox, please select the "With MAF Port Intake Kit" option. A retune will be required with this configuration.

The MAF Plug must be facing upright as per the image below if you're selecting "With MAF Port" 

  

Standard Turbo Intake

This option is made to fit a standard turbo.

With everything you need included in the kit; piping, silicone and clamps, it's a fairly simple installation. Some kits require custom engine mounts, whereas our kit uses all the OEM mounts - much more reliable.

Starting with the 2.5'' to 3'' turbo adapter pipe, which marries up to the standard turbo, and connects to the middle piece with a 3'' silicone joiner. The middle piece converts from 3'' to 4'', allowing it to join up with the top Airbox adapter pipe; which connects to the OEM airbox with a 3.5'' to 4'' silicon adapter.

 GSL Landcruiser Intake Installation Guide

Do I need to install any custom engine mounts?

Nope! Toyota make some of the best engine mounts on the market. Because of this, our intake utilises them, and doesn't require any custom mounts.

Where do I put the MAF sensor?

We relocate this to the port next to the Airbox. Check out our installation guide to see all the information you need when fitting the kit.

If purchasing the Intake for one of our GSL Airbox Toyota Landcruiser 76 series, 78 series, 79 Series, you will need to select the "Without MAF Port Intake Kit". You will NOT need a retune with this option. If you are purchasing this Intake Kit and you have a competitor Airbox, you will need the "With MAF Port Intake Kit", you will also need a retune with this option.
