Out of all the interior upgrades we’ve used in our 79 Series LandCruisers over the years, the Department of the Interior Premium Full Length Floor Console (Design 10) is easily one of my personal favourites.
After spending countless hours travelling Australia in both our touring setups, having important vehicle information easily visible becomes incredibly valuable — especially in a modified or heavily loaded LandCruiser. That’s exactly why the integrated ScanGauge3 provision in Design 10 works so well.
The ScanGauge3 is one of the most useful tools you can add to a touring 70 Series, but due to its size and shape, finding a clean mounting position is usually awkward. Department of the Interior solved that problem perfectly by integrating a dedicated ScanGauge3 mounting location directly into the console design, creating an incredibly clean, factory-style setup that keeps vital engine and vehicle data right where you need it.
