Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series Intake Kit
If you’re looking to increase your engines efficiency, all while making it look gorgeous, than the GSL stainless steel intake pipe is an upgrade you’ll want under your bonnet.
Better engine efficiency
The GSL system rocks a 4” main section, which brings a good number of benefits for performance and longevity. Performance wise, it can increase the amount of air the engine can take in, therefore imrpoving combustion efficiency. This can be felt right after installation, but with a remap you’ll notice a considerable performance increase. Being that combustion efficiency is one of the most crucial elements to a remap, the ability to access more air makes it much easier for the car to perform well.
Importance of the MAF sensor
More often than not, a 4” custom intake will have a hole made for the MAF sensor close to the original location, but unless it’s a 3.5” intake - you’ll likely end up with a dead pedal until 2K RPM. That is why GSL relocate their MAF sensor to the airbox; attaching to the 3.5” exit of the OEM airbox. If you want maximum performance out of the upgrade, consider purchasing one of our GSL 4” Airboxes. This will allow us to scale the remap up to 4” and will utilise the full amount of air the pipe can hold.
Standard turbo intake
This intake is made to fit a standard turbo.
With everything you need included in the kit. piping, silicone and clamps it’s a fairly simple installation. Some kits require custom engine mounts, whereas the GSL kit uses all the OEM mounts.
Starting with the 2.5” to 3” turbo adapter pipe, which marries up to the standard turbo and connects to the middle piece with a 3” silicone joiner. The middle piece converts 3” to 4”, allowinf it to join up with the Airbox adaptor pipe which connects to the OEM airbox.
