Strong structure - Fully free standing
Our awnings have a 4mm stainless steel base that gives the awning the strength to be fully free standing and handle high winds. Each arm is reinforced at the base with an extra layer of 2mm aluminium to increase its strength even further, while strategically placed nylon washers minimise movement and reinforced bosses further increase the arms’ strength.
High grade canvas
We use Australian-made, heavy duty quality 260g/sqm canvas that is suitable for the harsh Australian weather and sun. It’s thick, tough, durable, and UV and water-resistant. It won’t pool and will survive huge downpours and fierce winds.

Our 270 free standing awning arms extend out to 2.9m and the awning provides 12.4sqm of shade and coverage. The coverage area is 2.2m x 4m x 4m x 2m x 2m.
Compact base
The aluminium base of the D 270 degree awning is 2.2m which is shorter than most. The arms are attached to a strong and sturdy 4mm-thick stainless steel base mounting bracket. The arms are 2mm aluminium and reinforced with 4mm aluminium at each base.
Strong brackets
The D270 freestanding 270 awning has complimentary 3mm heavy duty stainless steel brackets with a unique design to lock on to most roof racks. They are easy to install yourself.
Lightweight
The D270 weighs in at only 23kg, but is heavy duty where it matters to cope with the stresses of outback touring and strong winds.
